1. Refer to: Specifications (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, Specifications).

2. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands. Raise and support the vehicle.

7. CAUTION: Using a suitable tool, hold the oil pump gear when removing the centre bolt.

Installation

1. NOTE: Make sure that all traces of the old sealant are removed from the mating faces. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

2. NOTES: Install a new gasket.

Note - Apply sealant WSE-M4G323-A6 in a 2-3mm diameter on the engine oil sump as shown. The component must be installed and tightened within 10 minutes of sealant application.

3. NOTE: Note - TAS | Engine | Apply sealant WSE-M4G323-A6 in a 2-3mm diameter on the engine front cover as shown. The component must be installed and tightened within 10 minutes of sealant application.
