Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Fuel Fired Booster Heater GTDi 2.0L Petrol

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands. Raise and support the vehicle.

3. Refer to: Cooling System Partial Draining, Filling and Bleeding (303-03B Engine Cooling - GTDi 2.0L Petrol, General Procedures).

4. Remove the RH fender splash shield.

Refer to: Fender Splash Shield (501-02 Front End Body Panels, Removal and Installation).

5. Torque: 10 Nm

6. CAUTIONS: Be prepared to collect escaping fluids.

Make sure that all openings are sealed. Use new blanking caps.

3. CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.

NOTE: Make sure that all openings are sealed.

Use new blanking caps. Clamp the hoses to minimize coolant loss.
